Dr Varsha Dabas

Dr Varsha Dabas is a consultant psychiatrist with an M.D. in Psychiatry from INHS Asvini, Mumbai, and nearly a decade of medical experience spanning military service and specialised psychiatric practice. Her career reflects a deep commitment to evidence-based care, academic rigour, and the humane treatment of people navigating depression, anxiety, addiction, and complex mental health challenges.

Having served as a Medical Officer (Major) in the Indian Army for five years before specialising in psychiatry, she brings a rare breadth of perspective—understanding both the physical and psychological dimensions of wellbeing, including stress, trauma, and crisis intervention in high-pressure settings. Her residency at INHS Asvini sharpened her expertise across OPD, inpatient, emergency psychiatry, and consultation-liaison psychiatry.

Dr Dabas has further enriched her clinical outlook through an observership at NIMHANS, Bengaluru—India's premier institute for neurosciences and mental health—where she observed and assisted in the management of complex psychiatric cases and attended academic rounds and specialty clinics.

Beyond clinical practice, she is passionate about research and teaching. She has led case presentations and academic discussions, supervised undergraduate medical students, and contributed original work on smartphone usage in depression and anxiety as well as diagnostic concordance in consultation-liaison psychiatry. She now offers secure telehealth consultations across Delhi NCR, combining clinical expertise with warmth and clarity.
